DVD and Blu-ray packaging has evolved from basic to completely customized back to basic. Some titles still warrant expensive design work, but most now use simple box and disc label approaches. Some of the projects shown here were more custom, with O-ring outer sleeves and multi-panel booklets.

This one has the outer sleeve and a 4-panel booklet with 2 discs.
One release of Apocalypse Now had a mini-oaktag folder with faux wax seal. The booklet had 6 panels and used embossing and foil stamping.
Another Apocalypse Now package, this one includes both the original and the Redux versions of the film in a 4-panel booklet in a finished box.
